Groundbreaking Celebration Scheduled

Brevard, NC-The Transylvania Economic Alliance will hold a groundbreaking celebration on Friday, January 19th at 2:30 p.m. at 200 Welcome Street in Brevard, NC. Elected leadership and project stakeholders will gather to celebrate this collaborative effort which is designed to boost quality employment opportunities in Transylvania County.

Event parking will be available at the nearby Brevard Community Church located at 417 Morris Road due to on-site construction activities.

The Ecusta Road Industrial Project is a unique community collaboration that will result in the construction and leasing of a state-of-the-art, 60,000 square foot, multi-tenant manufacturing facility designed to support quality job creation in Transylvania County. 30,000 square feet of the facility will be leased SylvanSport, a growing outdoor gear company headquartered in Brevard, NC. A vacant 30,000 square foot shell will also be available for other existing or new companies allowing for continued growth of the vibrant, local industrial base.
