EDPNC Business Recruitment Team Visits Transylvania County

On August 21, 2018 the Transylvania Economic Alliance hosted the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC), Business Recruitment and Research teams for a familiarization event. A first for Transylvania County the entire EDPNC team traveled to the community for a 2 day business meeting designed to acquiant the state-wide team to the region and the high-potential sites/buildings opportunities that exist in the greater region. In addition to touring the Davidson River Village property and Sylvan Valley Industrial Center the group held it's business meeting at the Brevard Music Center, Alumni House which was then followed by a dinner reception at Key Falls Inn . True to Transylvania County's unique economic development advantages and natural resources Davidson River Outdfitters provided a Fly Fishing 101 course for the group which allowed the Cary-based team an opportunity to try their luck at fly fishing.
