Asheville Regional Airport Adds New Daily Nonstop Flight to Washington, DC

The Asheville Regional Airport located 10 miles from Transylvania County  has announced that United Airlines will now be offering daily nonstop service to the Washington, DC market (Dulles Interational Airport). The new service is among a number of new routes announced by United Airlines. The Asheville Regional Airport serves as one of Transylvania County's primary air service providers and is located a short 25 minue drive from downtown Brevard.  According to a Bloomberg News May, 2018 article the Asheville Reigonal Airport ranks as the No. 2 fastest growing airport in the nation. The new service is expected to enhance business and toruism connectivity between the two markets.
